These statues are Max Bæklund, Fritz and Johannes, and Amanda. Each one shares a unique monologue about their history, the town, and the people who shaped it.
Visitors can listen by scanning a QR code near each statue, which triggers an audio message or phone call, making history feel alive and personal.Max Bæklund is a notable local figure, while Fritz and Johannes represent the hardworking fishermen who have long supported the town’s community. Amanda symbolizes the spirit and heritage of Kerteminde itself.
