THE WOMENS'S RIGHT PIONEERS MONUMENT

The National Park Service is partnering with Talking Statues to celebrate USA250 by bringing two iconic figures—George Washington and Alexander Hamilton— to life in unforgettable ways.

In 2016, we created an installation on Ellis Island in collaboration with the Ellis Island Museum, a landmark that serves as a powerful tribute to the millions of immigrants who arrived in America seeking new opportunities.

The Women’s Rights Pioneers Monument in Central Park is a historically significant sculpture that honors three key figures in the American women’s rights movement: Sojourner Truth, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Susan B. Anthony.

BOSTON WOMEN´S MEMORIAL

THE STONEWALL NATIONAL MONUMENT OF
GAY LIBERATION

Father Francis P. Duffy was a Canadian American soldier, priest, and military chaplain, best known for his service with the Fighting 69th infantry regiment in World War I. 
 
Duffy Square – the northern half of New York City’s Times Square between 45th and 47th Streets – is named in his honor.

The City dedicated the Boston Women’s Memorial on October 25, 2003. The sculptures at the Commonwealth Avenue Mall honor:

Abigail Adams, Lucy Stone and Phillis Wheatley.

The Talking Statues project collaborated with National Park Service to bring the Gay Liberation Monument in New York’s Christopher Park (part of the Stonewall National Monument) to life.
