Susanne
One of the remarkable Talking Statues in Glostrup is Susanne, located in Hospitalsparken by Glostrup Hospital. Created by Gerhard Henning in 1964, Susanne was his last major sculpture, a project that took him 10 years to complete. This nude female figure was at the heart of Henning’s artistic focus, and he is regarded as one of Denmark’s most important sculptors of the female form.
We are proud to present Talking Statues — a unique project that brings Glostrup’s art route to life with 44 talking sculptures. Each statue shares its story in both Danish and English, offering an engaging way to experience the art scattered throughout our city. We invite you to visit the route and enjoy this fresh encounter with art.
