One of the fascinating Talking Statues in Glostrup is Barberbladet, located at Diget 78. Created by Søren Georg Jensen and installed by Glostrup Boligselskab in 1979, this sculpture is crafted from red and black South American granite.
Søren Georg Jensen, son of the famous silversmith Georg Jensen, was known for designing striking jewelry before focusing on sculpture. His works often explore male or female forms in abstract ways.We are proud to present Talking Statues — a unique project that brings Glostrup’s art route to life with 44 talking sculptures.
Each statue shares its story in both Danish and English, offering an engaging way to experience the art across our city.
