Str. des 17. Juni 4, 10557 Berlin, Germany

The Rufer statue, also known as “Der Rufer” (The Caller), is a bronze sculpture created by Gerhard Marcks in 1967. The statue stands about 200 meters in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany. The woman in the statue is depicted shouting, with her hands next to her face (TripAdvisor). The quotation “I wander through the world and cry ‘Peace, peace, peace.'” from the Italian poet Francesco Petrarch is inscribed on the base of the statue (Berlin.de). So, if you ever find yourself in Berlin, make sure to visit the Brandenburg Gate and see the Rufer statue and hear it talk in person.
