On 24 August 2022, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, in the Østre Anlæg park in Copenhagen, Ambassador of Ukraine Mykhailo Vydoinyk and the Embassy staff took part in the festive opening of the project which provides an opportunity to the Taras Shevchenko monument in Copenhagen to speak using modern technologies.
Now everyone can scan the QR code placed on the pedestal and use a smartphone to listen to the interesting story of The Kobzar himself about his long and thorny path, which made him a brilliant prophet and master of artistic expression who left a huge literary heritage.

The bust of Taras Shevchenko became the 11th talking statue in Copenhagen.
