The Monument to Catherine the Great in Saint Petersburg is a significant historical landmark that stands as a tribute to the reign of Empress Catherine the Great. The monument is located in the middle of a small, grass-covered square, just off Nevsky Prospekt, which is lined by the Anichkov Palace and the Alexandrinsky Drama Theater.
