The Statue of George Washington in Paris is an equestrian statue located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, France. It was created by the American sculptor Daniel Chester French and inaugurated on July 3, 1900.

The statue is a bronze depiction of George Washington on horseback. It’s interesting to note that American soldiers stationed in Paris after World War I used to steal his sword as a prank .

The statue is located in the Place d’Iena, which is known for being decorated for the great Fourth of July parade in Paris.
